Kim Wynn, former traffic specialist for CTV Morning Live, is back with the station.

Wynn left the industry three years ago. She is returning as the host and producer of a new community segment, and filling in as a back-up weather specialist for meteorologist Josh Classen.

“I’m excited for my return to CTV, a place I had called home for so long," Wynn told Taproot Edmonton.

• Alberta broke COVID-19 case number records again over the weekend, and Mayor Don Iveson hinted that further restrictive measures are coming in Edmonton to contain the virus. Meanwhile, protestors gathered at the legislature on Dec. 5 to protest public health orders.
• Two-year-old Kaysen Martin is receiving the therapy drug Zolgensma to treat Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA 1) after an anonymous donor put up the remaining $2 million dollars for the treatment. The toddler's story spread across Alberta this summer as his family raced to raise the funds, reported CTV.
• Physician Dr. Daisy Fung talked to CBC News about her experience calling the families of COVID-19 patients who have died.
• A new portrait series by photographer and graphic artist Daniel Sundahl is honouring healthcare workers.
