Bent Stick and Audreys brew up book-fair nostalgia

This week, we're highlighting an event pick by Taproot curator/reporter Stephanie Swensrude. Stephanie recommends the Grown-Up Book Fair for adults that miss the stickers, pencils, and nostalgic goodies.

"There was something so special about book fairs as a kid. I remember wandering the aisles of books, pencils, erasers, and stickers, trying to find my one perfect purchase. For whatever reason, I scoffed at the kids who chose glitter pens or Lisa Frank stationery as I smugly picked out a Very Serious Book™. I hope to recapture that sense of haughty superiority at the Grown-Up Book Fair!"
